This Cookie Policy explains how LotPilot uses cookies and similar technologies on dealers.lotpilot.com (the "dealer site"). This site serves two audiences: automotive dealers and dealer groups evaluating LotPilot, and the consumers and shoppers who reach dealer inventory, chat, and lead pages powered by LotPilot. We describe what cookies are, the categories we use, the specific cookies we set, and the choices you have. LotPilot also operates the consumer site at lotpilot.com; that site has its own cookie policy.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things such as your preferences, whether you are signed in, and which page you visited last. "Similar technologies" include related browser storage mechanisms (localStorage and sessionStorage), pixels or tags, and software development kits. Throughout this policy we refer to all of these together as "cookies."

Cookies can be "first-party" (set by LotPilot) or "third-party" (set by a service we load, such as an advertising or analytics provider). They can last only for a single browsing session ("session cookies") or persist for a set period ("persistent cookies").

2. Cookie categories we use

We group the cookies on this site into four categories:

• Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work. They keep the site secure, route requests, balance load, prevent fraud, and remember the consent and privacy choices you have made. These cannot be switched off through our controls because the site would not function without them.
• Functional. Remember your preferences and choices, such as saved search filters, display settings, and information you entered in a form so you do not have to re-enter it.
• Analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the site in aggregate: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and where they run into problems. We use this to improve the product. We do not use analytics cookies to build advertising profiles.
• Advertising. Used to measure and optimize advertising campaigns on third-party platforms. On this site, this category is the Meta Pixel, described in Sections 3 and 4. Advertising cookies share data with the advertising platform.

3. Key cookies we set

The table below lists the main cookies used on this site. Exact names and durations can change as providers update their technologies; the categories and purposes describe how we use them.

4. The Meta Pixel and sharing with Meta

The Meta Pixel is live on this dealer site. When it loads, it initializes Meta's tracking function (fbq) and records events as you use the site. These include a PageView event and, when you take certain actions, conversion events such as Lead, CompleteRegistration, Contact, and Schedule (for example, requesting a demo, submitting the contact form, or booking an appointment).

To support this, the Pixel sets the first-party cookies described in Section 3 (_fbp and _fbc). The event and cookie data are shared with Meta Platforms, Inc. so that LotPilot can measure how its advertising performs and so that Meta can help optimize and target ads on Facebook and Instagram. This is an advertising use, and it involves sharing data with a third party.

You can prevent the Meta Pixel from loading, and stop this sharing, using the cookie and privacy controls described in Section 8, including a Global Privacy Control signal, which LotPilot honors. You can also manage ad personalization directly in your Facebook and Instagram account settings.

5. Analytics and dealer-prospect data

LotPilot uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use this site in aggregate — such as which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and where they encounter problems. Google acts as our service provider for this purpose and does not use the data to build cross-site advertising profiles (Google Signals is turned off). Google Analytics sets the first-party _ga cookies listed in Section 3 and may process a shortened IP address to estimate approximate, city-level location. Because this is analytics rather than advertising "sharing," it is not turned off by a Global Privacy Control signal; you can opt out using your browser's cookie controls or Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

When a business requests a demo, runs an AI-visibility audit, or submits the contact form on this site, LotPilot collects the business contact details you provide together with your IP address and browser and user-agent information. We process this information through a third-party automation and customer-relationship-management workflow so that our team can follow up with you. Analytics and functional cookies help us understand and improve how these forms perform. This dealer-prospect data is used to respond to your inquiry and evaluate fit; LotPilot does not resell leads.

6. Automated and AI-generated calls, texts, and emails

LotPilot places and sends automated and AI-generated outbound communications to consumers on dealers' behalf. This includes phone calls, SMS text messages, and emails, delivered through third-party providers including Twilio. Some of these communications are generated or delivered by automated systems and AI, and are not always handled by a live person. Cookies and form data on this site and on dealer pages help capture the contact information and consent used to send them.

Where you provide a phone number or otherwise opt in, you consent to receiving automated and AI-generated calls and texts at that number. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency may vary. You can reply STOP to any text message to opt out and HELP for help. Consent to receive these automated or AI communications is not a condition of any purchase.

7. Third-party AI and large-language-model providers

To power chat, lead qualification and routing, message generation, appointment booking, and AI-search-visibility analysis, LotPilot may process consumer lead, chat, and message data through third-party large-language-model providers acting as our service providers. These providers may include OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, xAI, and Perplexity. They are contractually restricted from using this data to train their own models. A current list of these sub-processors is available on request by emailing privacy@lotpilot.com.

8. How to control cookies

You have several ways to control cookies and the data sharing they enable:

• Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, or warn you before one is set. You can usually find these controls in your browser's settings or preferences menu. Blocking cookies may break parts of the site; for example, you may need to sign in repeatedly or lose saved filters.
• Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, LotPilot honors it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, including any advertising cookie data shared with Meta.
• Advertising opt-out. You can opt out of the Meta Pixel and other advertising cookies through our cookie controls and, for Meta specifically, through your Facebook and Instagram ad-preference settings.
• Text and call opt-out. For automated texts, reply STOP to opt out at any time, as described in Section 6.

9. Credit applications and other consumer data flows

Some consumer interactions on dealer pages involve data flows beyond cookies:

• Pre-qualification and financing. If a consumer begins a pre-qualification or financing request, LotPilot collects information such as name, address, date of birth, the last four digits of a Social Security number, and employment and income details, and transmits it to the selected dealer or lender through a credit service. This is governed by the FCRA Notice. Pre-qualification uses a soft inquiry; a hard credit inquiry occurs only with the consumer's consent.
• Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist. Dealers use LotPilot to automatically post inventory to platforms including Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist. Consumer inquiries made on those platforms are also subject to those platforms' own terms and privacy practices.

10. Who we are and how to contact us

LotPilot is a Delaware C-Corporation. We store data in the United States, and we do not resell leads.
